Go through each part of your credit report and confirm it is right.
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Your name, date of birth and PAN are correct | Wrong identifiers can mix your report with someone else's. |
| Addresses and phone numbers are ones you have used | An unknown address or number can be a sign of misuse. |
| Every account listed is yours | An unfamiliar account may be an error or fraud. |
| No account appears twice | A duplicate can make your debts look larger. |
| Loans you repaid show as closed, with no balance | An open status suggests you still owe money. |
| Card limits and balances match your statements | They decide your credit utilisation. |
| Each month's payment status is right | A late payment shown by mistake can weigh on your profile. |
| No "settled" or "written off" status on accounts you repaid in full | Lenders may view these statuses unfavourably. |
| Every enquiry is from a lender you applied to | An enquiry you do not recognise may mean someone applied in your name. |
A self-check only: Finobazaar does not calculate a score or rating from it, and nothing is saved.
