Frequently asked questions

How is credit utilisation calculated?

Utilisation = amount outstanding on your cards ÷ their total credit limit × 100. If the limit is zero the calculation cannot be done.

What is a good credit utilisation?

A lower share is generally seen more favourably, but no single percentage applies to every lender or scoring model, so the calculator does not set one.
