How the rates are shown

  • Only the rates in force today are shown, each with its unit, land use and category.
  • A rate is shown only for the exact place it was recorded for. The rate of a nearby place or of the wider area is never used instead.
  • "Checked against the official source" appears only on records with an official source and a check date. Other records say they are not verified.
  • DLC rates are shown separately from market prices.

Frequently asked questions

What is a DLC rate?

The value per unit of land or property that the state government fixes for an area, used as the lowest value for stamp duty when a document is registered. It is also called circle rate or guideline value.

Is the DLC rate the market price?

No. The price you agree can be higher or lower. Finobazaar shows DLC rates separately from market rates.

Where do the rates on Finobazaar come from?

From the rate lists notified for each district. Each record shows its notification and effective date when they are recorded, and whether it was checked against the official source.

What if my village or colony is not listed?

Then no rate has been recorded for it yet. Finobazaar does not show the rate of a nearby place instead; ask the sub-registrar's office for the rate in force.
