Business loans fund working capital, equipment, expansion or other business needs. They may be secured against property, machinery or other assets, or unsecured, and are repaid as EMIs or under a credit limit, depending on the product.
Business loan products from lenders
No lender's product of this kind is listed yet. Products appear here only with details checked on the lender's own published pages.
What lenders usually look at
- How long the business has run and its turnover and profit
- Tax returns and GST filings, where applicable
- Credit history of the business and its owners
- Bank account behaviour (inflows, bounces)
- Security or guarantee offered, if any
General guidance, not any lender's rules. Each lender sets its own criteria.
Papers lenders commonly ask for
- Identity and address proof (for example Aadhaar, PAN, passport or voter ID), as the lender asks
- PAN card
- Recent photographs
- Business registration or proof of business (for example Udyam registration, GST registration, partnership deed or incorporation papers)
- Income tax returns, financial statements and bank statements for the period the lender asks for
Share documents only through the lender's official channels. Finobazaar does not ask for them with an inquiry.
Before you sign
- Match the product to the need: a term loan for assets, a working-capital limit for day-to-day cash.
- Compare the total cost, not only the interest rate: processing fee, other charges and taxes are added to what you pay.
- Check whether collateral or a personal guarantee is needed and what happens to it if payments are missed.
- Ask whether the business qualifies under a government scheme the lender offers, and what that scheme requires.
- Ask the lender for the key fact statement or sanction letter and read the rate, all charges, the repayment schedule and what happens if you pay late, before you sign.
Calculators
Calculators give estimates from the figures you enter; they do not use any lender's rate and are not an offer or a promise of eligibility.
Questions
Can a new business get a loan?
Some lenders and government schemes lend to new businesses, often with other conditions. Ask the lender what records they need for a business of your age.
Have a question about this loan?
Send an inquiry and a member of the Finobazaar team will call you back. It is not a loan application: nothing is sent to a lender unless you agree.
