Frequently asked questions

Does this tell me if I am eligible for a loan?

No. It shows the EMI and how your debt payments would compare with your take-home income. Lenders decide eligibility with their own rules and your credit report.

How is the EMI calculated?

With the reducing-balance formula EMI = P × r ÷ (1 − (1 + r)^−n), where r is the yearly rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100 and n the number of months, the same as the Finobazaar EMI calculator.
